ELECTION INFORMATION

ABSENTEE BALLOTS

 

 

The Office of the Town Clerk conducts and preserves the integrity of all local, state and national elections.  All elections are held in the Strafford Town Hall located behind the Post Office at 12 Mountain View Dr.  The polls open at 8:00 am and close at 7:00pm.   The following elections are scheduled for 2018:

 

  • March Town Election - March 13, 2018
  • March Town Meeting – March 17th, 2018 held at the Strafford School.
  • State Primary Election - September 11, 2018
  • State General Election - November 6, 2018

 

Absentee Ballot request forms for the upcoming election can be printed using the link below and completed in the convenience of your home.  As a registered Strafford voter, you may fax, e-mail, mail, or hand deliver your completed reqiest form to the                  Strafford Town Clerk, PO Box 169, Strafford, NH 03884.

 Upon receipt of your request, an absentee ballot will be mailed to the address you specify.  Please allow ample time for this process.  Ballots may be returned in person by the voter, the voters spouse, parent, sibling or child.  Ballots must be delivered by 5pm on the day before election.
Mailed ballots must be received by 5pm on Election Day.

 

If you are a UOCAVA (Uniformed and Overseas Citizens) voter, please complete the following 2 forms at the beginning of each calendar year.  This will ensure that you receive ballots for every election that you are eligible to vote in during the year:
