Supervisor of the Checklist Public Notice

The Supervisors of the Checklist will be sitting at the Town Office on Saturday, May 18, 2024, 11:00-11:30am and Tuesday, June 4, 2024, 7:00-7:30pm for corrections to the checklist and additions of new voters. RSA 654:36, 37, 44. The Town Clerk can also take registrations during her normal office hours. If you are registering as a new voter, a photo ID, proof of citizenship, age and domicile in Strafford needs to be provided. RSA 654:7; RSA 654:12; RSA 669:5
NOTE: Tuesday, June 4, 2024, is the last day to change party affiliation before the primary.

Arts & Events Council is scheduled to meet the 3rd Thursday of each month from 3:00pm – 4:00pm at the Hill Library, unless posted otherwise. Agenda

Green Committee – There will be a meeting of the Green/Energy Committee at 5 pm on Tuesday, April 9th, to be convened at the Hill Library with the following agenda:
To have initial interviews with representatives from CPCNH and Standard Power to discuss community power/choice aggregation for the Town of Strafford.
To conduct other old and new business as is called for.

Natural Resources & Land Use Committee – will be hosting a meeting for Strafford farmers and their supporters on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Waldron’s Store, 520 Province Road. Stop by between 4:00PM and 5:30PM to share your thoughts.

Natural Resources & Land Use Committee – will be meeting on Friday, April 19, 4PM at the Town Hall.

Community Center/Recreation Facilities Master Plan Subcommittee will be meeting on Monday April 29th at 7 pm at the Hill Library.

Bow Lake Committee – The Bow Lake Committee will meet at 6 PM on April 25, at the Town Hall. We are working on educational information which we can get out to the public. Please join us.

RECYCLING CENTER / TRANSFER STATION ATTENDANT

Recycling Center/Transfer Station Attendant opening. Must be available to work on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 AM – 1 PM and Wednesdays 4-7 PM, as needed. Hours will vary. Job also requires availability to assist with snow removal at the facility. Applicant must be 18 years of age or older. Please send a letter of interest to the Board of Selectmen, Town of Strafford, PO Box 23, Center Strafford, NH 03815 or by email to administrator@strafford.nh.gov . NH Solid Waste Operator Certification would be a plus. No phone inquiries please.
