Town Office Position Opening

Assistant to the Town Administrator

The Town of Strafford is currently accepting applications for a bookkeeping/clerical position at the Town Office. The position works under the supervision of the Town Administrator and is responsible for handling accounts payable and revenues along with clerical duties through the Selectmen’s Office, and providing support for the Assessing and Building Departments. Requirements include proficiency in Microsoft Office software and bookkeeping experience/training. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who enjoys working with the public, possesses good writing and communication skills, is attentive to detail while managing multiple priorities and deadlines, and is a team player. Approximately 24-29 hrs/week, at present; the position has potential for growth.

The Recycling Center Hours:
Wednesdays 4:00pm – 7:00pm
Saturday & Sundays 9:00am – 1:00pm
There are no longer any restrictions on Sunday.
