Are there any exemptions or credits available?
Yes. Strafford offers veteran’s tax credits, as well as tax exemptions for the elderly and disabled.
Am I eligible for the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Civil Relief Act?
You may qualify for the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Civil Relief Act if you have outstanding taxes due to the Town of Strafford; you are called to active duty and request relief; or your activation papers stipulate Title 10.
