We offer notary services at the town offices free of charge. A valid photo ID is required.
Appointments: If you have more than two documents to be notarized an appointment is required. Call 603 664-2192 X102.
Witnesses: If a document requires a witness in addition to notary services, you must provide your own witnesses. Town staff and customers do not serve as witnesses for legal documents.
Legal Advice: A notary’s role is limited to verifying the signer’s identity, willingness, and awareness. A notary cannot understand, explain, or interpret the legal effect of a document. If you need assistance with a form, please contact an attorney or the agency that issued the document.
